As the region’s residential market continues to grow, planning boards reviewed a variety of new projects and subdivisions throughout September. From innovative open space developments to minor lot subdivisions, here’s a look at the latest proposals shaping our communities:
Auburn – Quarryside Park Grows with New Homes
Governors Hill Corp. is proposing a subdivision of three lots into five, all with frontage along a proposed 2,700 LF cul-de-sac at 876 Londonderry Turnpike. This project will bring new single-family inventory to Auburn and expand the local neighborhood.
Auburn– Townhouse Trio on the Rise
Harry C. Robbins, III has requested a re-hearing for a variance to construct three multi-family structures with four townhouse units each in a Residential Two zone. This development could provide higher-density housing options in the area.
Londonderry – Six Duplexes Approved with Variance at Nashua Road
Vigeant Family Properties, LLC received approval this month for a variance to construct six duplexes at 296 Nashua Road in the Commercial II (C-2) zoning district. The project addressed frontage restrictions, wetlands considerations, and community feedback during the public hearing. The approval marks a key step forward for this long-standing proposal, moving it closer to construction.
Hollis – Begin Family Farm Subdivisions Take Shape
Begin Family Farm, with Gerald C. Glover & Marie C. Glover as owners, is pursuing minor 3-lot and 2-lot subdivisions at 105 and 106 Witches Spring Road. Both properties are in the Residential & Agricultural zone and are under design review with public comment opportunities.
Hudson – Campbello Street Open Space Development Moves Forward
An Open Space Development (OSD) plan has been accepted for review to subdivide Map 165/Lot 049 into eleven single-family lots. This project marks the first step in expanding residential opportunities in Hudson.
